Tobava is a free AI chat and web search site. You can ask Tobava AI a question in plain language and keep going with follow-ups, or switch to Tobava Search for a list of web results. These guides explain how each part works, what the limits are, and what happens to the things you type.

Every guide here describes how Tobava works today. If something on the site does not match what you read here, please tell us at [email protected] so we can fix one or the other.

Quick answers

Is Tobava free?

Yes. AI chat and web search are free to use. Without an account you can send 3 chat messages a day as a preview (1 in the EU, UK and Switzerland). A free account raises that to 10 messages and 3 full web searches a day and saves your chats. Optional paid plans (AI Light and AI Plus) add more usage, more AI models and no ads. See Plans and billing.

When do my free messages come back?

Free daily allowances reset at midnight UTC. Depending on where you live, that may be during your morning, afternoon or evening. Signed-in users can check what they have used under Settings → Usage.

Can I trust the answers?

Treat Tobava AI as a fast, helpful starting point, not a final authority. It can make mistakes, and the note under the chat box says so. When an answer uses the web, it shows numbered sources you can open and check. Do not rely on it for medical, legal or financial decisions. The AI chat guide explains how to check an answer.

Are my chats saved?

Only if you are signed in, and not if you use a temporary chat. Without an account, the conversation stays in your browser. Details are in Privacy and safety.

Why do I see a sponsored card?

Guests and free accounts may see one card marked Sponsored below an answer. It is chosen by our ad partners, is kept separate from the answer, and never changes what Tobava AI says. Paid plans and temporary chats never show these cards. Read the Ads and Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture.
