Ads and Affiliate Disclosure

Tobava AI and Tobava Search are free because of ads and affiliate links. These appear only for guests and free accounts. AI Light and AI Plus subscribers get no ads and no affiliate links. Neither one decides which results we show, the order they appear in, or what Tobava AI says in its answers. Anything paid is labelled.

1. Sponsored cards in Tobava AI

Guests and free accounts may see one card marked Sponsored below an answer. Our advertising partners choose these cards to match the conversation. The card is always separate from the answer. Tobava AI never writes ads into what it says.

AI Light and AI Plus subscribers never see sponsored cards.
We don't request sponsored cards for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

2. Display ads

Some pages may show display ads from Google AdSense to guests and free accounts. Google chooses these ads based on the page you're viewing. Paid plans don't load them.

3. Affiliate links

Some links to online shops in Tobava Search results, and some links in Tobava's travel tools, are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the shop may pay Tobava a small commission. You pay the same price either way.

Affiliate links are used for guests and free accounts only. AI Light and AI Plus subscribers always get plain links. Affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" tag, and search results still show the shop's real web address. Encyclopedias, government sites, universities and similar sources are always plain links.

Here's an example affiliate link to a product at Walmart: view this product at Walmart. If you buy through it, Tobava may earn a commission.

4. What money never changes

Ranking. Results are ranked the same way whether or not a link can earn us anything.
AI answers. Tobava AI isn't told which shops or products pay us, and it isn't asked to recommend them.
Your data. We don't sell your chats or searches to advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for what's shared with ad partners to show an ad (such as your approximate location and browser type).
